I’ve recently purchased season tickets for our local basketball team. I’m pretty stoked. What’s doubly exciting is their new arena is almost finished and its supposed to be in the top 5 worldwide for acoustic awesomeness or something line that.
Either way, it’s going to be great.

rubber turkeys

Douche Salute 2: Rubberneckers.
For those unsure about the term, it’s basically a person that slows down to look at a car accident or something happening on the side of a road.
This mornings commute was soooo sloooow thanks to rubberneckers.
At least I got to crank some Foos for an extra 40 minutes:)

gap drivers

Douche Salute 1: The Gap Driver
These guys cause most annoyance when they travel well below the speed limit in the fast lane, and leave at least a 50 car gap in front, but somehow they pick the slow car next to them to ‘wingman’, so you can’t get around them.
They also like to slow to a crawl 50m from a traffic light, which is most annoying when you’re trying to turn, but the turning lane is being blocked by them…

new feature

I’m going to start a new feature on my blog: the douche salute.
I’m going to, from time to time, salute the warts of society that aren’t really doing anything particularly wrong, but just cause annoyance whenever they’re present. I’ll mostly use it as a quick vent avenue 🙂

I was asked Monday. The opening night is Saturday. First practice tonight. Dress rehearsal tomorrow.

bourne again

So, the new Bourne movie has no Matt Damon, but it has the Bourne name. That means lots of action with Mr. Shakey Cam.
It had the same feeling as the other movies, but was a bit hollow story-wise.
Go into this one just to watch a good action movie, just don’t expect another Bourne masterpiece.
